OSCE Leadership Welcomes Dissolution of Minsk Group

OSCE Chairperson-in-Office Valtonen and Secretary General Sinirlioğlu have welcomed the decision of the Ministerial Council to close the Minsk Group and its related structures. This was reported by the OSCE.

This decision is a historic step towards achieving long-term peace in the South Caucasus, the officials noted.

"I congratulate Armenia and Azerbaijan on this concrete step on the path to peace and stability in the region, which is convincing proof of the effectiveness of diplomacy," OSCE Secretary General Sinirlioğlu wrote enthusiastically on his X page.
