The visa liberalization process is entering an important phase: the Minister of Internal Affairs received the Deputy Director-General of the European Commission for Migration and Home Affairs.
On November 5, the senior official for the Armenian side on the visa liberalization dialogue, Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Armenia Arpine Sargsyan, met with the Deputy Director-General of the European Commission for Migration and Home Affairs, Johannes Luchner.
The Deputy Director-General of the European Commission for Migration and Home Affairs is in Armenia from November 5 to 6 to hand over the RA-EU visa liberalization action plan to the Armenian side.
According to Arpine Sargsyan, visa liberalization is an important stage of the Armenia-EU partnership, aimed at strengthening trust and cooperation with the EU. The Minister emphasized that Armenia views the visa liberalization action plan as a strategic document for reforms in the areas of citizen mobility and public security.
During the meeting, the main directions of the action plan were discussed.
