Валтонен в Баку после визитов в Армению и Грузию

After visiting Armenia and Georgia, the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Finland Elina Valtonen is in Azerbaijan, where she had a meeting with the country's President Ilham Aliyev.

It should be noted that the day before, she had meetings in Armenia with high-ranking officials: the Prime Minister, the President, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs.

In Georgia, at least one of the meetings did not take place. Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze canceled the scheduled meeting with Valtonen due to her "participation in an illegal rally and spreading false statements" the previous day.

It is recalled that on October 14, Valtonen met with the Georgian Foreign Minister and later participated in a rally in Tbilisi, where she spoke with protesters.
