Pashinyan in China. LIVE

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan arrived in China on August 30 for a five-day visit, marking a significant step in Armenia’s foreign policy. He is set to attend the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation Summit in the “SCO+” format and take part in events commemorating the 80th anniversary of China’s victory in the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression.

The visit also includes a high-level meeting with President Xi Jinping, where both sides are expected to announce deeper economic and diplomatic ties. Armenia hopes the trip will expand trade, attract investment, and reinforce its “Crossroads of Peace” regional connectivity initiative.
