Zelenskyy: Ukraine Would Nominate Trump for Nobel

Ukraine is ready to nominate US President Donald Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize if he succeeds in becoming a mediator in concluding a ceasefire with Russia that would be beneficial for Kyiv. This was stated by the President of Ukraine.

"The plan to end the war will not be easy, but it is certainly the way forward. And if Trump gives the world, and first and foremost the Ukrainian people, the opportunity for such a ceasefire, then yes, he should be nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize. We will nominate him on behalf of Ukraine," Zelenskyy said in a conversation with journalists.

This statement comes against the backdrop of Trump's claims that he can end the Russian-Ukrainian war. Although he previously claimed he would do it in 24 hours, he later admitted that resolving the conflict is "a little more complicated" than he thought.
