Zelenskyy: Russia Fired 500 Drones, 40 Missiles at Ukraine

Russia launched almost 500 attack UAVs and more than 40 missiles, including the "Kinzhal" type, towards Ukraine. This was announced by the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

He confirmed that the main directions of the strikes were Kyiv and the region, as well as Zaporizhzhia, Sumy, Mykolaiv, Chernihiv, Odesa, and Khmelnytskyi regions. A bread factory, a car tire factory, private and apartment buildings, as well as civilian infrastructure objects were hit.

"This vile attack took place almost at the end of the UN General Assembly week, and this is how Russia declares its real position. Moscow wants to continue the war and kill, and deserves only the maximum tough pressure from the world. It is beneficial for the Kremlin to continue this war and terrorism as long as there are funds from energy and the shadow fleet is operating," said Zelenskyy.
