Zelenskyy Rejects Any Peace Plan Involving Territorial Concessions

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced on August 9 that he would reject any peace plan that includes ceding territory to Russia.

The announcement was made hours after Washington and Moscow announced a summit aimed at ending the war. US President Donald Trump announced on August 8 that he would meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Alaska on August 15 to discuss a possible peace agreement.
