Kyiv Ready to Discuss, Not Concede, Territory: Official

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is ready to discuss the territorial issue, stated Ukrainian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergiy Kyslytsya in an interview with NBC News.

At the same time, Kyslytsya noted that on the territorial issue, Zelenskyy is guided "both by the current legislation of Ukraine and by public opinion." He emphasized that Ukrainian society is "categorically against exchanging our territory for peace."

According to American media, during his meeting with US President Donald Trump in Alaska, Putin stated that Ukraine must hand over the entire Donbas to the Russian Federation, including the territories under Kyiv's control.

The Ukrainian president has previously repeatedly stated that renouncing any part of the country is impossible. On August 23, speaking at the State Flag Day celebrations, Zelenskyy said again: "We will not give our land to the occupier."
