Fire in Yerevan High-Rise; 350 Residents Evacuated

On June 27, at 04:38, the National Crisis Management Center received an alert that a fire had broken out in the parking garage located under one of the buildings on Tsarav Aghbyur street in Yerevan.

It was determined that cars were burning in the building's underground parking garage.Responding to a "Complexity Level 2" call, six fire-rescue crews from the Yerevan City Rescue Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Rescue Service, the on-duty team from the Firefighting and Rescue Operations Organization Division, operational groups from the National Crisis Management Center, and one aerial ladder were dispatched to the scene.

For safety reasons, 350 residents were evacuated from the building. According to preliminary data, there are no casualties.

The fire was contained at 07:00 and extinguished at 08:36. Six cars were burned, two of them partially. Fire-rescuers managed to prevent the fire from spreading to adjacent cars and apartments.
