Yerevan to Celebrate City Day with City-Wide Events

On October 12, on the occasion of the anniversary of Erebuni-Yerevan, at the initiative of the municipality, the entire capital will turn into an open stage. Festive events will be organized in various communities. In particular, from noon, different parts of Yerevan will turn into large festive venues with the participation of beloved and famous artists. In different parts of the city—in Nor Nork, Arabkir, Avan community, and the Hrazdan Gorge area—fairs, exhibitions, open-air dances, and games for children will be held.

The main event will be in the evening. At 21:00, a festive concert will take place in Republic Square, with the participation of stars of the Armenian stage and an impressive light show, which will end with a magnificent firework display.

It should be recalled that the Yerevan Municipality informs that due to the "Erebuni-Yerevan 2807" celebration events, some streets will be closed. Until 06:00 on October 13, Tigran Mets Avenue and Nalbandyan Street entering Republic Square will be closed.

On October 12, until 24:00, Republic Square will be completely closed to traffic.

Until 24:00 on October 12, Sakharov Square will be completely closed.

On October 12, until 24:00, Teryan and Pushkin streets adjacent to Northern Avenue will also be closed to traffic.
