During the reporting period, fine decisions were made against 438 individuals for administrative offenses committed in community transport, in accordance with Article 137.9 of the RA Code on Administrative Offenses. This was stated by Avetik Babayan, Acting Head of the Public Order Protection Service, during a working consultation at Yerevan Municipality.
134 fine decisions were made for traveling without a ticket, 5 decisions for using another person's privilege, and 99 for having a payment method but not validating it.
"At the same time, 124 administrative complaints were received from citizens, of which 100 were rejected due to the failure to present necessary legal justifications, while for 24 cases, corresponding decisions on the annulment of administrative acts were made, taking into account the problems with payment, validation, and the validator, as well as the clarification provided by the 'Yerevan City Management Technologies Center' CJSC," he noted.
Babayan also recalled that the service's control work in community transport began on August 19, 2025. Accordingly, the total number of persons who committed an offense is 1,180, of which 860 administrative acts were adopted for traveling without a ticket, 91 for using another person's privilege, and 229 for having a payment method but not validating it.
