Yerevan's Leningradyan Street to Be Renamed After Kirk Kerkorian

Leningradyan Street in Yerevan's Ajapnyak and Malatia-Sebastia administrative districts will be renamed. The draft decision is on the agenda of the Yerevan Council of Elders session.

"Guided by the provisions of Article 12, Part 1, Clause 23 of the Law 'On Local Self-Government in the City of Yerevan', and Clause 4 of the procedure established by the annex to Government Decision No. 2387-N of December 29, 2005, the Yerevan City Council decides:

To rename Leningradyan Street in the Ajapnyak and Malatia-Sebastia administrative districts of Yerevan city (starting from the Great Hrazdan Bridge and reaching the intersection of Sebastia and G. Hasratyan streets) after philanthropist Kirk Kerkorian, as 'Kirk Kerkorian Street'," the draft states.
