Yeghoyan, German Ambassador Discuss Armenia-EU Integration

On November 25, Arman Yeghoyan, Chairman of the Standing Committee on European Integration of the RA National Assembly, met with Claudia Busch, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Germany to the RA.
Welcoming the ambassador, the committee chairman emphasized the dynamic development of relations between Armenia and Germany and cooperation in various directions, including at the parliamentary level.
During the meeting, views were exchanged on Armenia-European Union cooperation and the progress of reforms outlined in the Armenia-EU Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement. The dialogue on visa liberalization for RA citizens with the European Union was addressed. Germany's active involvement in this process was highlighted.
The interlocutors also discussed issues related to regional developments and the normalization of relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan. Reference was made to the framework for the implementation of the "Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity" (TRIPP) communication project. In the context of unblocking regional infrastructures, the importance of the "Crossroads of Peace" project initiated by the Armenian government was also emphasized.
