What Are Hungarian Drones Looking For in Ukraine?

Ukraine's military-political leadership held another meeting to discuss the situation on the front line, the progress of counter-offensive operations, and new challenges related to border security. Zelenskyy wrote about this. Key on the agenda were the combat operations in the Dobropillya direction, the fight against Russian aviation, and incidents on the Ukrainian-Hungarian border. The President of Ukraine wrote that another 187.7 square kilometers of territory in that direction have been completely cleared of Russian sabotage and reconnaissance groups.

During the meeting, reference was also made to recent incidents on the Ukrainian-Hungarian border. The Ukrainian military has recorded the entry of reconnaissance drones into the country's airspace, which are presumably Hungarian. According to preliminary assessments, they could have been conducting reconnaissance on the industrial potential of Ukrainian border regions. Zelenskyy has not given an order to destroy the drones that penetrated from those directions.
