Weather in Armenia: High Fire Danger, Rising Temperatures

From August 22-27, a high-level fire hazard situation is expected in Shirak, Kotayk, the Ararat valley, the foothills of Aragatsotn and Vayots Dzor, the valleys of Syunik, as well as in Yerevan.

In Yerevan, on the afternoon of August 22 and from the 23rd to the 27th, weather without precipitation is expected. On the evenings of August 22 and 25-27, wind is expected to strengthen to 14-18 m/s.

In the regions, on the afternoon of August 22 and from the 23rd to the 27th, weather without precipitation is expected. The wind will be south-westerly at 2-5 m/s. On the evenings of August 22 and 25-27, in Armavir, and the foothills of Kotayk and Aragatsotn, wind is expected to strengthen to 15-19 m/s. The air temperature will gradually rise by 3-4 degrees from August 23-24.
