Wanted Convict Found and Detained in Merdzavan

As a result of joint operational-search measures by officers of the General Department of Criminal Police and the Vagharshapat department of the Community Police, on October 14, in the Merdzavan community of Armavir province, a 48-year-old man was found and taken to the Vagharshapat department. He had been wanted since July 7 by the Avan department of the Community Police as a convict, with arrest as the measure of restraint.

He was convicted on charges of selling narcotics, psychotropic substances, their preparations, or their equivalent substances or derivatives.
