Vučić: Europe is Preparing for War with Russia

Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić made an alarming statement on television, calling for sobriety from the entire European community. According to him, the danger of a large-scale military conflict with Russia in Europe is becoming increasingly real, and this process is already underway. According to Vučić, this is no longer just a theoretical assumption or empty talk, but a reality for which European countries are actively preparing.

The Serbian leader bases this conclusion on facts. As a vivid example, he points to the words of the Chief of the General Staff of the French Armed Forces, General Fabien Mandon. The high-ranking French military officer had stated that his country's army must be ready for a confrontation with Russia within the next three to four years. Vučić is convinced that such statements at the highest level indicate that the war scenario is being considered as a realistic prospect, and preparatory work for it is in full swing.

In such a tense geopolitical situation, Serbia, according to President Vučić, finds itself in an extremely difficult situation, "between a rock and a hard place." On the one hand are the Western countries with their clear goals and pressures, and on the other hand is Russia with its own interests. Maintaining a balance between these two opposing poles is becoming increasingly difficult.

In such an explosive situation, when regional security is in question, strengthening Serbia's own defense capabilities becomes a priority. Aleksandar Vučić emphasizes that the only right path for Belgrade is the continuous modernization and strengthening of its own armed forces. This, he says, is not a manifestation of aggressive ambitions, but a vital necessity to protect the country's sovereignty and the security of its own people from possible shocks.
