Ahead of Putin's visit, the Speaker of the Russian State Duma is in China

The President of the PRC, Xi Jinping, received the Speaker of the Russian State Duma, Volodin, in Beijing. The latter informed the head of state about the 10th session of the inter-parliamentary commission on cooperation between the legislative bodies of the countries. Volodin also conveyed the greetings and warm wishes of the President of Russia to the leader of China.

To recall, the President of the RF, Putin, will travel to the PRC on an official visit to participate in the summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO), which will take place from August 31 to September 1 in the city of Tianjin. It is reported that the visit of the President of Russia will last 4 days.
