Violation Found in "Meat Food" LLC's "Moya Semya" Sausages

During an inspection carried out at the meat products factory belonging to "Meat Food" LLC (Yerevan, Ohanov street), inspectors from the Yerevan center of the Food Safety Inspectorate took samples from the available product range and submitted them for laboratory testing.

The examination revealed that the sample of the "Moya Semya" brand's "Delicate Sausages" product (produced on 30.06.2025, expiration date: 25 days) does not comply with the norms required by the technical regulations of the Customs Union in terms of the "sodium nitrite recalculated as NaNO2" indicator. Accordingly, the food product is considered dangerous.

By the decision of the supervisory body:

• The separate function of the meat products factory's production activity, namely the production of the "Delicate Sausages" product, has been suspended.

• It has been instructed to bring the product into compliance with the norms established by legal acts.

• An order has been issued to the economic operator to prohibit the sale of the batches, to recall them from the market, to destroy or utilize them.

• A deadline has been set for the elimination of the violations.
