Vagharshapat Local Election Campaign Kicks Off with 8 Parties

In the enlarged community of Vagharshapat, the election campaign for the council of elders officially started on October 22. It will continue until November 14, at 24:00. Eight political forces will participate in the council elections. They will appear under the following ballot numbers:

"Victory" alliance of parties, composed of the "Arraj" and "Armenian Revolutionary Federation" parties (list headed by Sevak Khachatryan),

"Pan-Armenian Front" party (list headed by Artyom Simonyan),

"Republic" party (list headed by Harutyun Mkrtchyan),

"Mother Armenia" national-democratic party (list headed by Grisha Harutyunyan),

"Free Democrats" party (list headed by Vahram Azatyan),

"Heritage" party (list headed by Arkadi Paytyan),

"Civil Contract" party (list headed by Argishti Mekhakyan),

"Homeland" party (list headed by Khachik Manukyan).

According to information published on the website of the Central Electoral Commission, 70,022 people have the right to vote in the elections for the council of the enlarged community of Vagharshapat. On election day, 47 polling stations will be open. The voting will take place on November 16.
