Fake Pre-Election Messages Circulate in Vagharshapat

As you know, during the pre-election period in Armenia, various information-related attacks intensify. It was Vagharshapat community's turn, due to the upcoming local self-government elections. Minister of High-Tech Industry Mkhitar Hayrapetyan wrote about this on his Facebook page.

"In recent hours, many citizens are receiving fake messages (I am attaching images) aimed at muddying the atmosphere during the pre-election period and misleading citizens. If you noticed, the sender's number is not Armenian; it's an Indonesian code. It's a small detail, but you should always pay attention to such details so that the provocation does not achieve its goal," Hayrapetyan noted.
