Uzbekistan Demands Russia Punish Man Who Insulted Taxi Driver

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan has sent an official note to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia demanding to identify the man depicted in the video who insults an Uzbek taxi driver and to take measures in accordance with the current legislation.
The press secretary of the country's MFA, Akhror Burkhanov, reported this. "In particular, an investigation is being conducted into the case that caused a wide public response in August.
In this connection, an official note has been sent to the Russian MFA to identify the person depicted in the video and to take measures within the framework of the law," the press secretary noted. He added that the citizens of Uzbekistan are under the protection of the state, regardless of their location.
In the published video, a man yells at a taxi driver, accompanying his words with curses and insults: "You are a slave, a slave of the Russians. You found nothing in Uzbekistan, you came to us. You are not at home, you came to work, so work."
