US Urges Europe to Join Tariffs Against India

Axios writes that the US has also called on Europe to impose additional tariffs on China and sanctions against Russia, including a complete halt to oil and gas purchases.

The portal's interlocutors noted that the authorities of Great Britain and France are acting more constructively, but a number of European countries want Washington to bear all the costs without participating in the settlement of the Ukrainian conflict. "Europeans cannot prolong this conflict and justify baseless expectations while expecting America to bear the costs," a senior White House official was quoted as saying by the media.
