US to End Military Aid Program for Russia's Neighbors

The US Department of Defense has informed European countries that it intends to stop the military assistance program for Russia's neighboring countries, known as Section 333, from next year. This was announced by a representative of the Lithuanian Ministry of Defense in Vilnius.

Within the framework of this program, the US trains military personnel of allied countries around the world. In Europe, the main recipients of this aid have been Latvia, Lithuania, and Estonia, writes the German publication Bild.
