US Temporarily Halts Patriot Missile Supplies to Ukraine

The US has temporarily suspended the supply of several types of weapons to Ukraine, including missiles for Patriot anti-aircraft defense systems, reports NBC News, citing sources in the Pentagon.

This is due to a review of US military stockpiles and a possible shortage of ammunition. It is reported that Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth has ordered an inspection of depleted arsenals.

If it turns out that the ammunition is needed in other regions, the short-term suspension of supply could be replaced by a long-term one.
