US Publishes Final Documents from Armenia-Azerbaijan Talks

The United States, jointly with the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Azerbaijan, is publishing the final documents of the historic meeting of President Trump with the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, and the Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, on August 8, a meeting that will mark the beginning of a new peace in the South Caucasus region. This is stated in a release from the US State Department.

"These documents include: the Joint Statement of the President of Azerbaijan and the Prime Minister of Armenia on the results of their meeting in Washington, the Memorandum between the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Azerbaijan on the Crossroads of Peace, the Memorandum of Understanding between the Governments of the United States and the Republic of Azerbaijan on the establishment of a strategic working group to develop a charter for a strategic partnership between the United States and the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Memorandum of Understanding between the Government of the United States and the Government of the Republic of Armenia on partnership for capacity building at the crossroads of peace routes, the Memorandum of Understanding between the Government of the United States and the Government of the Republic of Armenia on partnership in the field of artificial intelligence and semiconductor innovations, and the Memorandum of Understanding between the Government of the United States and the Government of the Republic of Armenia on partnership in the field of energy security," the message states.
