Two US Navy Aircraft Crash in South China Sea

A US Navy MH-60R Sea Hawk helicopter and an F/A-18F Super Hornet fighter jet crashed in the South China Sea within half an hour of each other. The incidents occurred during exercises conducted from the USS Nimitz aircraft carrier.
In the first incident, an MH-60R Sea Hawk helicopter crashed. About half an hour later, an F/A-18F Super Hornet fighter jet also crashed.
Fortunately, all five crew members of both aircraft were successfully rescued. Their condition is assessed as stable, and their lives are not in danger. The US Navy has launched an investigation to determine the causes of the crashes.
