US Deploys B-1 Bombers Near Venezuelan Coast

The United States has brought two strategic B-1 bombers closer to the coast of Venezuela. This is reported by the AP agency, noting that the planes took off from Dyess Air Force Base in Texas.
Tensions in the region began to rise in August, when President Trump "declared war on Venezuelan drug cartels" and sent warships to the country's shores. Before sending the B-1 bombers, the head of the White House had also announced that the United States could launch a ground operation against the drug cartels.
These steps are seen as an increase in pressure on Venezuela in connection with the fight against drug trafficking.
