University Department Head Arrested in Bribery Case

The head of a department at the Armenian State Institute of Physical Culture and Sport has been arrested on charges of accepting a bribe. This was reported by the Anti-Corruption Committee.

Two other individuals have been arrested on charges of aiding in bribe-taking and giving a bribe. Motions to apply detention as a measure of restraint against them were submitted to the court and were granted.
