Ukrainian Drones Strike Plants Deep Inside Russia

Overnight, industrial facilities deep inside the Russian Federation were once again targeted by Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles. An attack was carried out on the petrochemical plant in the city of Sterlitamak, Republic of Bashkortostan, while explosions were also recorded in the Nizhny Novgorod region.
According to the head of the Sterlitamak city administration, the industrial complex was subjected to a "terrorist attack" by two UAVs. He assured that both drones were successfully shot down by forces from the Ministry of Defense and the enterprise's security service. According to the official version, the debris fell in the industrial zone, near an auxiliary workshop. However, this information is contradicted by Russian media publications, which report the outbreak of several fires at the local petrochemical plant.
Parallel to the events in Sterlitamak, a restless night also passed in the city of Kstovo, Nizhny Novgorod region, where explosions also thundered. It is assumed that the likely targets of the drones here were the region's largest enterprises: "LUKOIL-Nizhegorodnefteorgsintez" and the "SIBUR-Kstovo" petrochemical plant.
