The situation in the zone of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict remains tense. Both sides report on strikes against enemy targets and their consequences.
In the Odesa region, a powerful fire broke out in the port of Izmail after an attack by the Russian side. The Russian side states that these strikes are a response to the "terrorist attacks" of the Ukrainian armed forces against Russian objects.
In turn, the Ukrainian side, according to the Donetsk authorities, struck energy infrastructure with unmanned aerial vehicles. According to the statement of the head of the Donetsk People's Republic, Denis Pushilin, about 500,000 subscribers in Donetsk, Makiivka, Horlivka, and Yasynuvata were left without electricity as a result of the attack. Local sources report that the "Chaikyne" substation and the Starobeshevska thermal power plant were targeted.
At the same time, the Russian Federation struck the city of Balakliia in the Kharkiv region. According to the city's military administration, three people were killed, and another ten, including three children, were injured. However, the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov, reports one dead and eight wounded.
