Ukraine Launches 100-Drone Attack on Russia; One Killed in Bryansk

The Russian Ministry of Defense reported preventing a large-scale attack by unmanned aerial vehicles on various regions of the country. According to the department, air defense systems destroyed a total of 100 drones that had targeted more than a dozen regions in the European part of Russia.
The most intense situation was in the Bryansk region, where, according to official data, 46 drones were shot down. The attack here resulted in human casualties. Governor Alexander Bogomaz reported on his Telegram channel that one person was killed and another, a 14-year-old teenager, was injured as a result of the UAV attack. Nine residential buildings and a production facility of the "Miratorg" company were damaged in the region.
Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin reported that four drones flying towards the capital were destroyed. Specialists from emergency services are working at the sites where debris fell.
Other regions were also attacked. 12 UAVs were shot down in the Kaluga region, eight in Belgorod, seven in the Krasnodar Krai, six each in the Moscow and Oryol regions, four in the Ulyanovsk region, three in Crimea, two in the Stavropol Krai, and one each in the Kursk, Smolensk, and Tula regions.
In the Novospasskoye district of the Ulyanovsk region, according to Governor Alexey Russkikh, a fire broke out at the site where debris fell, but it was quickly extinguished, and there were no casualties. The authorities of the Stavropol Krai, Kaluga, Tula, and Smolensk regions reported that there were no casualties or destruction as a result of the attacks. The authorities of Crimea, Krasnodar Krai, Oryol, Kursk, and Belgorod regions have not yet detailed the consequences of the attack.
For security reasons, the work of Moscow's "Sheremetyevo," "Domodedovo," and "Zhukovsky" airports, as well as the airports of Kaluga, Volgograd, Saratov, Gelendzhik, Penza, Vladikavkaz, Grozny, Samara, Krasnodar, Ulyanovsk, Kazan, and Cheboksary, was temporarily suspended. Currently, all restrictions have been lifted.
