On August 9, a Ukrainian UAV struck a facility in Tatarstan where "Shahed" strike drones and foreign components for them were stored, the press service of the Security Service of Ukraine reported.
The target of the attack was a military warehouse in the Kyzyl-Yul settlement, located 30 kilometers from Yelabuga. "Shahed" drones are produced there. "The unmanned aerial vehicle hit the building of a logistics hub.
A fire broke out after the explosion. The distance from Ukraine to the point of impact is about 1,300 kilometers," the statement said.
The authorities of Tatarstan have not reported an attack on a military facility.
