Ukraine's Verkhovna Rada has voted in favor of appointing Yulia Svyrydenko as Prime Minister.
On July 17, the President of Ukraine submitted her for confirmation to this post in the legislative body.
It should be recalled that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy had proposed on July 14 that Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy Yulia Svyrydenko head the government.
"We discussed specific measures that can strengthen Ukraine's economic potential, expand support programs for Ukrainians, and expand our own weapons production," Zelenskyy had stated.
