According to Politico, King Charles, who will host Trump, is "very close" to the details of the peace negotiations and to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

"This provides the prime minister with a weapon that many other European leaders do not have: a sympathetic monarch who quietly but consistently shows his support for Kyiv and is ready to help overcome US skepticism on this issue," writes Politico.
