Man Throws Daughter From 4th-Floor Window in Ufa

The prosecutor's office in the Russian city of Ufa has begun an investigation into a horrifying incident that has shaken the city. According to preliminary data, on October 9, a 34-year-old man threw his three-year-old daughter out of the window of their fourth-floor apartment in a residential building.

The child was immediately hospitalized. Doctors assess her condition as extremely critical and are fighting for the little girl's life.

Law enforcement officials have determined that the father and daughter were alone in the apartment at the time of the incident. The child's mother had gone with her older son to a resort in another region.

The prosecutor's office reported that a large-scale investigation has been launched to clarify the causes and all circumstances of the incident. As part of the investigation, a legal assessment will be given not only to the father's actions but also to the activities of the officials responsible for juvenile affairs to determine whether they have complied with the requirements of the legislation.
