War in Ukraine Is 'Our War,' Not a Foreign Conflict

Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk has called on Western countries to realize that the war in Ukraine is not a foreign conflict, but "their own war." He said this in his speech at the opening of the Warsaw Security Forum on September 29.

His words are quoted by RMF 24. Tusk noted that both in Warsaw and elsewhere, voices are often heard saying that this is not our war and that it should not concern us.

"We must realize... that this is our war, because the war in Ukraine is only a part of that terrible project that appears in the world from time to time. And the goal of that political project is always the same: how to enslave peoples," said Tusk.

"If we lose this war, its consequences will affect not only our generation, but also the next ones. In Poland, throughout Europe, in the United States, all over the world," Donald Tusk assured his European partners.
