Turkmenistan to Build Mosque in Varanda (Fizuli): Aliyev

In the southern wing of occupied Artsakh, in Varanda, Turkmenistan will build a mosque. This was announced by the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, in a statement to the press after a high-level meeting between Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, and Uzbekistan.

"While in Fizuli, Gurbanguly Mälikgulyýewiç proposed building a mosque in this city as a gift from Turkmenistan. I gratefully accepted that offer. Although only a month has passed, the architectural sketch of the mosque is already ready, and its foundation will be laid in the near future," Aliyev added.

He also informed that more than two hundred people are already working at the sewing factory built by Uzbekistan in the same settlement. There is a plan to expand the factory several times.
