Turkish Stars Questioned in Istanbul Drug Probe

In Turkey's cultural capital, Istanbul, the law enforcement system has launched a large-scale operation that threatens to become one of the biggest scandals in recent years. At the initiative and instruction of the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, the police have begun an investigation into the "use of drugs or psychotropic substances," within which dozens of famous figures from Turkish show business and arts have been detained and taken to the police station.

This is reported by the prestigious Turkish newspaper "Sabah," publishing a list of the stars who have come to the attention of law enforcement.

As part of the investigation, mega-stars such as singers Hadise, İrem Derici, and Ziynet Sali have been summoned to the police to give testimony and provide blood samples for analysis. The list also includes famous film and television series actors Kubilay Aka, Kaan Yıldırım, and others.

The Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office has given clear instructions to investigators to take testimonies and blood samples from all individuals mentioned in the case to confirm or deny the possible use of drugs. Despite the fact that famous names are involved in the criminal investigation, the prosecutor's office has specifically emphasized that at this stage, no decision has been made to arrest or detain any of them. They are involved as witnesses or suspects to provide testimony.
