Organization of Turkic States Summit Begins in Gabala

The 12th summit of the Council of Heads of State of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) is starting in the city of Gabala, Azerbaijan, for which high-ranking guests have arrived in Azerbaijan.

On October 6, the plane of Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán landed at Gabala International Airport. Hungary, being an observer member of the organization, actively participates in its work. In honor of the high-ranking guest, a guard of honor was lined up at the airport. Viktor Orbán was greeted by Azerbaijan's Minister of Culture, Adil Karimli, and other officials.

Earlier, the President of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, Ersin Tatar, also arrived in Azerbaijan. Northern Cyprus, which is also an observer member of the OTS, values its participation in the integration processes of the Turkic world. At Gabala International Airport, Ersin Tatar was greeted by Azerbaijan's Minister of Science and Education, Emin Amrullayev, and other officials.

During the summit, it is planned to discuss issues aimed at deepening political, economic, and cultural cooperation between the member countries.
