Turkey to Build Modern Shelters in All 81 Provinces

Amid tensions in the region, modern shelters will be built in all 81 provinces of Turkey to protect the population in case of war or natural disasters. This decision was made following a cabinet meeting on August 25.

It is reported that special attention was paid to the examples of Israel, Japan, and Switzerland for the implementation of this plan.

According to the Turkish NTV television channel, construction work has already begun in a number of cities, including the capital, Ankara. The shelters will be fortified structures that can be quickly reached in case of an emergency and threat.
