Fidan: An agreement in principle has been reached to hold a summit between the RF and Ukraine in Turkey.
Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan has stated that the world is facing a risk that could lead to a bigger war, and Turkey "has been working to prevent this since the beginning of the crisis."
"An agreement in principle has been reached to hold a leaders' summit in Turkey under the auspices of President Erdoğan, with the participation of Russian President Vladimir Putin, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, and US President Donald Trump," he said.
However, according to him, Zelenskyy and Putin have different conditions for participating in the summit, and the issue comes down to a ceasefire.
Fidan added that initially both sides had more differing views, but if an interim solution is truly found after several rounds of negotiations.
