Turkey Ready for Talks with Armenia, Awaits Baku's Nod

In a comment to the Turkish bureau of the APA agency, Turkey's Minister of Transport and Infrastructure, Abdulkadir Uraloğlu, said that if Azerbaijan gives its consent, it would be possible to organize a trilateral meeting of the transport ministers of Turkey, Azerbaijan, and Armenia.

"We often meet with Azerbaijan's Minister of Digital Development and Transport, Rashad Nabiyev. We have also had several meetings with the Minister of Transport of Armenia. A trilateral meeting is possible only with Azerbaijan's consent. If it is given, we are fully ready, as Azerbaijan's position is of great importance to us," Uraloğlu noted.

The minister added that preparatory work for the opening of the so-called "Zangezur corridor" is proceeding at a high level, and "quite coordinated work" has been carried out with Azerbaijan.

"We have pre-planned everything that will need to be done after the full completion of the peace process. All necessary preparations have been made," the Turkish minister said.
