Turkey to Normalize Ties with Armenia After Peace Deal: Fidan

"As soon as the agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan is finalized, we will quickly normalize relations with Armenia," stated Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan at a conference at the Institute of International Affairs in Rome.

The Turkish Foreign Minister thanked Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and US President Donald Trump for the initialing of the peace agreement between Azerbaijan and Armenia in Washington. Ankara expects that the final peace between Azerbaijan and Armenia will be signed in the first half of next year, Fidan noted.
