Turkey's National Intelligence Organization (MİT), in cooperation with the Istanbul prosecutor's office and police, has arrested Serkan Çiçek, who collaborated with Israel's Mossad intelligence service.
According to the investigation, Çiçek was in contact with Mossad agent Faisal Rashid and agreed to follow a Palestinian activist who opposed Israeli policy in exchange for $4,000 in cryptocurrency.
MİT determined that the detainee's real name is Muhammet Fatih Keleş. After accumulating large debts in business, he changed his name and opened a detective agency.
Despite the fact that his acquaintance, Musa Kuş, had previously received a 19-year prison sentence for spying for Israel, Çiçek agreed to cooperate with Mossad.
