Turkey Links Armenia Border Opening to 'Zangezur Corridor'

The Turkish Ambassador to Azerbaijan, Birol Akgün, has stated that the Armenian-Azerbaijani and Armenian-Turkish normalization processes should be considered together.

"Both normalization processes are proceeding in parallel. We want to accelerate the normalization process. If a stable peace agreement is signed or initialed, and the conditions regarding the 'Zangezur corridor' are met, the Turkish-Armenian border could be opened at the right time as a result of consultations between Ankara and Baku," the Turkish ambassador said.
