Tsarukyan Unveils 'Proposal to Armenia' Program

The leader of the "Prosperous Armenia" party, Gagik Tsarukyan, presented the "Proposal to Armenia" program on his Facebook page. We present it below:

"Dear compatriots,

Back in May, in my interview, I announced that I was initiating the development of the "Proposal to Armenia" program. This is a supra-party program. It is a program where every citizen will see the formulation of the most acute and current problems of themselves, their family, and their state, and the solutions to them. That program should be formed by the joint efforts of sectoral specialists, reputable scientists, public figures, and concerned people with proposals, thoughts, and ideas. It will be compiled with the direct participation of citizens, with the participation of the best specialists from Armenia and the Diaspora. During the development process, the program will be constantly put up for public discussion, and the proposals of citizens and specialists will be constantly taken into account. This will be a public, open process.

I, as the author of the initiative, propose to start the work on the program with this small preface. Armenia needs:

Internal reconciliation, public dialogue, elimination of enmity, restoration of the unity of the Armenian world.

Suspension, freezing, revision of a number of controversial laws and decisions - laws that harm the country, poison the lives of hundreds of thousands of people.

Competent-peaceful negotiations, exclusion of unilateral concessions, a real peace program, neutralization of the risk of war, restoration of allied relations, creation of a real security system, implementation of new large-scale economic programs.

Is it possible to ensure broad public consolidation around these simple points? Definitely yes," he wrote.
