US President Donald Trump has announced his support for a bill providing for tough sanctions against Russia and its trading partners, including Iran. Parallel to this tough stance from the White House, it was announced that the "Cartel of the Suns," led by Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro, will be designated a terrorist organization. This move will allow the American side to carry out airstrikes on targets within Venezuelan territory.
The situation is also tense in Europe. In Poland, unknown individuals have damaged railway lines that are used, among other things, to supply goods to Ukraine. It is not ruled out that the incident was sabotage.
In domestic policy, Trump has called on the US Congress to vote in favor of releasing materials on the Epstein case, emphasizing that he "has nothing to hide."
And in Tehran, they are anxiously awaiting rain. Iran, threatened by new US sanctions, has faced another very serious problem.
The country is starting cloud seeding operations to induce precipitation, as the strongest drought in recent years has hit the country. The issue has become so acute that the evacuation of at least part of the capital's population is even being considered if precipitation does not resume in the near future.
