Kash Patel, [a former Trump administration official], claims to have discovered a set of secret documents related to Donald Trump's ties with Russia in connection with the 2016 election, which were allegedly found in a secret room inside the FBI in "several bags intended for burning."
This was reported on Wednesday, July 30, by the Fox News Digital portal, citing sources. The documents were transferred to the Senate, to the chairman of the Judiciary Committee, Chuck Grassley.
Earlier, on July 22, Trump accused former US President Barack Obama of treason. At that time, the head of the White House referred to a report by US Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard, which was published two weeks earlier.
She had concluded that Obama and his close aides "falsified and politicized intelligence" related to Russia's attempts to influence the 2016 election. "Russia had neither the intention nor the ability to try to hack the US presidential election," Gabbard had declared.
