"Trump Road" to Be Managed, Not Controlled: Pashinyan

The Armenian-American company to be formed within the framework of the "Trump Road" project will not control the road, but will carry out business management. Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan assured reporters of this, reports "Armenpress".

"The Armenia-United States company will not control that road, but will manage that road, that is, it will carry out business management," said the Prime Minister.

In the context of the "Trump Road" project, the Prime Minister drew attention to the principle of reciprocity. "We have never said that we are going to create an obstacle for communication between the main part of Azerbaijan and the Nakhichevan Autonomous Republic.

Within the framework of the principles mentioned in the Washington Declaration, the advantage of Azerbaijan to have a connection is emphasized, and it is emphasized for the Republic of Armenia, both internal and international, that is, to a third country, with mutual advantages," said Pashinyan.

Let us recall that earlier, Deputy Foreign Minister of Armenia Vahan Kostanyan had announced that within the framework of the "Trump Road" project, it is planned that a company will be registered in Armenia, the shares of which will be distributed between Armenia and the United States.
